When I started treating OCD, I quickly realized how much this type of work means to me because I had to learn how to be okay with discomfort and uncertainty myself. I’ve been practicing as a licensed therapist since 2016. My graduate work is in mental health counseling, and I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy because it’s the gold standard of OCD treatment.
Living with OCD is hard enough without therapy. The anxiety and tension levels that it can cause ruins the way you live. I love the idea of teaching others that it’s not our thoughts or emotions that cause issues, but rather the reactions to those emotions or thoughts. I’m here to work with you to handle your OCD with an approach that’s proven to work. My clients like that I challenge them to a point where they feel confident in their ability to live with uncertainty. I can do the same for you.
