I've been happy to work at a community mental health services facility for over 25 years, which includes therapist work and supervision of social workers and other therapists. I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to effectively treat people with OCD because I know that I will see progress throughout treatment with ERP. I like how NOCD makes it easier to do ERP exercises because of the NOCD app's tools. It brings me great joy when I see how happy people feel as they get better.
OCD limits your happiness. Compulsions seem like they're the right solution because they help relieve anxiety, but then the anxiety returns, and you're left going through the same cycle again. You may feel stuck right now, but I'm here to provide you with the tools you need to help deal with the challenges that OCD pushes in front of you. With my help and your work, you can get back to living the life you want to live. We will talk about your life, everyday things, and what's meaningful to you during sessions. That way, we can build trust before bringing in ERP exercises. Members have said that they find me compassionate and caring.
