My early training was led by Dr. Patrick McGrath himself, in which I learned how to treat OCD and anxiety. I’m a firm believer in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, because I’ve seen how well it works. But I understand that you have to be willing to be uncomfortable as you face your fears, and I’ll be here to guide you through ERP therapy. You’ll be on the road to getting the results you want.
OCD is a true deceiver. It makes you believe that you must rely on compulsions to relieve anxiety, even if only temporarily, That’s how OCD survives. I can show you how to beat OCD, but the process to getting you better is indeed a collaborative process. I’ve been told by previous patients that they enjoy my supportive approach. I believe in empowering you during sessions instead of having you depend on me. This will ensure that your confidence develops, so you can manage your OCD outside of treatment with the tools to make positive change in your life. Most importantly, we’ll make these changes happen together.
