Licensed Therapist, LCSW
I create a safe environment where you feel heard, understood, valued, and respected. My approach is non-judgmental, and my interest is in helping you to overcome or better cope with whatever's causing difficulty in your life. You are the expert on your own life. I am here to educate, guide and support you toward your goals. When I'm not doing therapy, I'm trying to learn to ice skate and am interested in gymnastics. I like to travel, listen to music, and spend time with my dogs. A fun fact about me: I've lived in Europe and got to spend a few months in Australia.

While it can be scary to face your fears, it can also be freeing, improving your self-esteem and confidence. The plus is that you don’t have to do it alone.
I have had an interest in social matters since seventh grade. I was introduced to therapy around my first year of college, when I went to translate for a family member. I became part of a group where I was able to share some of my experiences, which felt liberating and freeing. I was impressed by this experience and the work one gets to do in a therapy role. One day, I wanted to provide similar impact and support. I feel drawn toward listening and learning about people’s experiences and have an interest in helping others to heal, feel, and get better.
For people with OCD, life can be limiting, frustrating, time-consuming, and challenging. Exposure therapy can help you overcome your fears and live a more balanced, functional, and fulfilling life. I'm excited to help people to make significant change in their lives—to live life to the fullest, free from obsessions and compulsions.
I have worked with anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, adjustment and relational concerns, trauma, grief/loss, and bereavement. These all can impact one’s functioning. Trauma can especially impact people and affect their relationships with themselves and others.
While change takes work and time, it can be very rewarding. It is important to attend, participate and practice what is learned in therapy. I am here to support you along the way.
I understand that it can be scary to share inner, deep thoughts and feelings. This could be a great opportunity to practice feeling safe in expressing yourself. Know that I am not here to judge you; I am here to help you on your journey. I hope to provide a safe environment in which you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts. I believe in transparency and informed consent.
