About

My approach to treating OCD is individualized to each person and is highly collaborative in nature. While I’m there to guide and support you in treating your OCD, you know yourself best! Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, cooking, traveling, and going to concerts, from folk to punk: I love it all!

Get to know Anne Meyers

As a child, I experienced my own challenges and was able to see a therapist. This inspired me to become a therapist later in life. I wanted to help others who needed someone to talk with, some extra support, and/or a little guidance.

I know OCD is prevalent and causes quite a bit of distress for many people, so I wanted to help! It’s important to me to provide effective, evidence-based treatment to members.

As a therapist, I enjoy working with couples as well as individuals. I also specialize in trauma work and frequently work with survivors of abuse. Relationships, community, a sense of belonging: I feel that these are so important to our lives and overall well-being. The quality of our relationships can greatly impact our sense of peace, as can past trauma and/or abuse. My goal is to assist others in exploring and resolving these issues so I can help them achieve a greater sense of contentment.

You should know that it’s natural to be nervous and anxious about the ERP process. Trying something new that takes work and effort can be overwhelming, but you'll quickly realize that ERP is effective and empowering by nature.

If you're afraid to share your thoughts with me, know you're not alone! It can be scary to share some of our most distressing thoughts with others. Please know I will provide an empathetic and non-judgmental approach in working with you.
