She/Her
Licensed Therapist, LMFT, LMHC, RPT
NOCD utilizes an evidence-based approach to treatment. It might be really challenging, but you can do it! I love when a member discovers a realization about something they've been thinking or doing that isn't helping them, then work to change their thoughts and behaviors. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching movies, music (playing and listening), family, arts/crafts, swimming, video gaming, and traveling.

Once things are in the light, not hidden in the shadows, they're less frightening, and we can work on them!
I became a therapist to help people learn about themselves and live a happier life.
I've found that many people have little understanding of OCD, and this causes a lot of suffering. I like helping people find more freedom and happiness in life.
My other areas of focus include anxiety disorders, trauma, marriage and family, and children via play therapy. Working in different areas helps me maintain a fresh perspective. I love working with children and adults. As I've learned more over the years, it made sense to keep working with adults and children in varying ways.

If you're afraid to share your thoughts with me (or anyone), please say that! We can work toward you feeling more able to share those thoughts with me. Once things are in the light, not hidden in the shadows, they're less frightening and we can work on them!
