Get to know Amara Caimitte

I'm purposeful and clear about my intention to remind people of the power of choice they hold, and what it looks like to interrupt behavioral patterns that derail a person from who they are and what they want.

I am interested in assisting people with their locus of control, and intrusive compulsions and thoughts that have led to their behavioral concerns.

I have experience in working with familial patterns, BPD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, CBT, DBT, ACT, and anger management.

There may be times you don't like me, as emotional work can be challenging. However, my goal is never to cross boundaries and push further than I'm given permission to. I am focused on the goals we will create together.

If a direct conversation is too intimidating at first, writing something to me is helpful. Just take your time.

Amara and I just started together recently and has been very helpful and insightful in our sessions, reframing things I said to make sure we were on the same page. The exposures and tools she has given me have helped me look at my OCD/Anxiety and recovery in a new way. I feel very comfortable with her, she understands and is easy to talk to.
