Licensed Therapist, MSW, LCSW
As a therapist, I'm nonjudgmental, compassionate, and understanding, infusing humor and connection into sessions. My members feel motivated, supported, and ready to do the work. Outside of therapy, I love making things, learning, and growing. I place high value on my relationships with friends and family and nurture them as much as I can. A fun fact about me: I sang on a children’s album when I was 9. Ask me if you want more details!

I love working with people who are motivated to improve their circumstances, and I find anyone who's seeking help to be brave and admirable.
I started therapy at a young age and had some unhelpful and helpful therapists. There were times I felt unsupported and labeled. I learned there were things that seemed to work and didn’t. I wanted to help people in the ways I was helped, without causing individuals to feel marginalized and misunderstood. I learned specific skills to match my value system, so I can meet people where they are in their treatment journey and help them improve their lives.
Through my work as a clinical therapist, I have worked with people with OCD. Seeing the impact OCD has on people’s lives—and the strong desire to recover that seems to accompany this condition—made me want to be an integral part of the recovery process. I love working with people who are motivated to improve their circumstances, and I find anyone who's seeking help to be brave and admirable.
In my career, I've focused on substance abuse and on working with high-risk adolescents with the priority of keeping them in the lowest level of care within the community. In my private practice, I’ve done a lot of work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma.
Remember that it can be a little scary. Changing anything can be unnerving, but heroes and cowards feel the same thing. Heroes just don’t let the fear stop them. I will be with you every step of the way, and we will tackle this together.
Know it’s normal to be afraid. I’ve had my own therapy journeys throughout my life; I know taking that first step is hard. I will never judge you, and I will always check in to ensure you're feeling safe and ready to take any steps we'll be taking. Our work together will always be collaborative.
