About

I've found that the greatest measure of success is the ability to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Becoming a therapist at NOCD has forced me to get out of my comfort zone and grow professionally. Outside of work, I love being in the natural environment, whether it’s gardening or hiking. I enjoy painting, pottery, and all things handmade. I find the creative process very therapeutic.

Get to know Jessica Germaine

I've always wanted to help others find self-acceptance and self-love and challenge the stigma associated with mental health. My path to becoming a therapist was one of personal growth, to become a better me. It was an essential step in my own healing process. I want to instill hope and self-compassion in those who embark on the challenging but rewarding journey to embrace change.

I believe it's important to challenge our own thoughts and perceptions, whether in areas of personal or professional growth. The opportunity to work with trained experts in the world’s leading OCD treatment program is a wonderful chance to open my therapeutic horizons and grow professionally.

I've worked with various populations across the life course, from children to geriatrics. I've worked in a multitude of settings, treating conditions that range from mild to severe and persistent.

Personal growth is uncomfortable yet rewarding.

Know that thoughts are not facts, thoughts are uncontrollable, and therapy is a safe and judgment-free zone.
