About

My approach to treating OCD is a combination of mindfulness and exposure therapy. Using the NOCD ERP protocol, we will work together to face the things that create difficulty and overcome them. I love seeing my members become more functional and proud of themselves and what they're accomplishing as they recover. Outside of work, I enjoy writing. I speak basic Spanish and am studying Korean because I love Asian culture. I have a combatives belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and am working on earning my blue belt.

Get to know Kelly Caleb

Many years ago, I volunteered at a domestic violence shelter and began working with adolescents in a residential setting. I realized that I could have a greater impact by becoming a therapist.

I've been working with clients who have diagnoses of anxiety, in particular OCD, and want to be better able to assist them in their journey to improve daily functioning and regain control of their lives.

I focus mainly on anxiety, trauma, and addictions. I'm an MCAP (Master Certified Addictions Professional). I write therapeutic books presented in a children’s book format that teach mindfulness. I specialize in these areas because I have personal experience with anxiety and trauma: I experienced PTSD after my car was hit by a drunk driver. My car rolled over several times, dropped down a 30-foot ravine, and I was trapped for several hours while emergency services worked to rescue me.

There is hope for recovery and a better life. It may take some time. Remember, we didn’t get here in a day, and we won’t be able to fix everything in a day. Be patient with yourself.

Understand that as a clinician, I'm not here to judge you in any way. If I wanted to judge, I would be in a courtroom. I have worked with people of various ages and cultures who have many types of anxieties, phobias, compulsions, and addictions. Whatever you're experiencing, we can face it together. The only way to drive out a shadow is to shine light on it.
