After exploring different career paths in college, I audited a social work class, which convinced me to switch my major. I realized helping others had been a theme and passion throughout my life, and it was something I wanted to continue in a more formal way.

I have a passion for OCD. I had found success working with people who had that diagnosis, helping to reduce and relieve their symptoms. I wanted to further my education and ability to help by working here at NOCD.

I specialize in anxiety, immigration and cultural issues, domestic violence and sexual assault, and trauma.

Sometimes it feels awful and really distressing, but working through this instead of avoiding it will help you come out the other side with less distress. ERP is highly effective at treating OCD. Most people experience a reduction in symptoms or see them relieved altogether.

We can take it at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There will never be any judgment of your thoughts or behaviors.
