Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

About

I approach all my members with empathy and create a non-judgmental space for them to feel comfortable and conquer their OCD. I believe each school of therapy beautifully addresses a different piece of the larger puzzle, and I enjoy skillfully weaving together different modalities based on my members' unique needs at any given time. Some fun facts about me: I was born and raised in Los Angeles and love singing and playing the acoustic guitar. My happy place is the beach.

Get to know Paris Bonbright

I've always had a love for people and a fascination with the human mind and psychology. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a therapist, working with people to overcome their traumas and explore their emotions. Making a positive impact is what makes me happiest.

I saw the profound impact OCD has on individuals and the limited resources available to them. OCD is often misunderstood and misdiagnosed. It’s always a pleasure to support those struggling with OCD and watch them take their life back.

In addition to treating OCD, I've worked in a residential treatment center with adults struggling with suicidal ideation. I've also worked in community mental health, providing therapy services to children and families in underserved populations in Los Angeles. I love working with kids and watching them grow and improve.

Before embarking on NOCD Therapy, it's essential to understand that you're not alone in your journey to overcome OCD. Our therapy is evidence-based, and I'm committed to providing you with the support and tools needed for progress. Challenges may arise as we work together to confront your fears, but I will guide you every step of the way.

It is totally normal to feel afraid. Taboo thoughts are part of the human experience. Everybody on this planet will have a taboo thought. It's just that with OCD, it gets harder to live with them. You're not alone in this, and therapy is a completely non-judgmental space.
