About

I see education on OCD as fundamental for recovery. The more you understand about OCD, the easier it is to challenge the thoughts you fear and the compulsions that often follow. Outside of work, I love to do creative hobbies, like baking and decorating cakes and cookies, crocheting, knitting, and painting. I also enjoy going for nature walks, exercising (especially dance), and spending time with people I love. A fun fact about me: I learned to quilt at the age of 6.

Get to know Megan Croyle

I have a passion for helping others and providing support and a safe space. I also have experienced various mental health conditions personally in the past and want to help others find healing.

I suffered from OCD symptoms for about 10 years before receiving treatment. I would love to help anyone get treatment as soon as possible. I have a passion for treating OCD and love to see people progress and feel like themselves again.

Trauma, depression, and anxiety disorders. In my first year as a therapist, I saw many trauma cases and was inspired to help others. I've done a lot of trauma therapy over the last four years of counseling, and I would love to continue. Depression and anxiety are both very close to my heart, as I've experienced both in my personal journey.

During the initial intake session, I'll make sure you understand what OCD is, the types of available treatment, and the general expectations for session format and frequency. I'll ensure you understand that the pace and intensity of therapy is up to you, and I'll start where you're at.

I hope you'll have a good enough rapport with me to vocalize this fear. OCD is a common condition, and you are not alone. OCD targets a person’s worst fears, and it's common to feel uncomfortable sharing; thoughts can feel scary or taboo. I encourage you to share what you can. I'll build good rapport with you until you feel more comfortable.
