About

My approach to treating OCD includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with exposure and response prevention (ERP), which is the most-recommended treatment for OCD. I use a collaborative approach, which allows for your input on areas of focus. Outside of work, I love to indulge in the arts with friends and family: Live music, crafts, film, literature, painting, and exploring the art of mother nature, the great outdoors.

Get to know Nathlie Plummer

My desire to help others prompted me to become a therapist. I find joy in helping others navigate systems to meet their needs and offering the support they need to thrive. For many years, I struggled with anxiety and was able to find relief by using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques and attending group therapy. I've always enjoyed connecting people to resources that allow them to live healthier, happier, and more meaningful lives. I felt compelled to learn how to teach others to improve their quality of life through therapy.

To provide more appropriate care to people with OCD. Often people aren't given proper help because there's a lack of adequately skilled support resources. I recognized that I had limited knowledge about treating OCD, which prompted me to seek out how to improve my competency in treating it.

I've worked with many different mental health conditions in a variety of settings, including inpatient hospitals, intensive outpatient, communities, K-12 schools, and higher education. I have experience treating anxiety, anger management, and depression. I offer perinatal and postpartum support, grief counseling, marital and relationship counseling, and LGBTQ+ support. I truly enjoy helping people navigate personal challenges, teaching them healthy ways to cope, and empowering them to improve their quality of life.

You're about to start a journey that will be life-changing. Kudos to you! As we prepare to work together, I encourage you to think about your life vision.
