About

My approach to treating OCD is collaborative. Although I maybe specialized in ERP, you are the expert in your own experience. It is so important to work collaboratively to maximize your success in treatment. Outside of work, I love reading, exercising, and spending time outside. Fun fact: My first time in a plane was skydiving!

Get to know Kelly McGrath

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the arts and education. I was always drawn to working with people, understanding their experiences, and supporting them. As I outgrew my role in the arts, it felt like a natural step to become a therapist, given my background, interests, and lived experience.

I saw a gap in care for those struggling with OCD and discovered that ERP was the gold standard. It was important to me, as a clinician, to grow my skills to support those struggling with this often misunderstood disorder. I want to help individuals work toward long-term success in overcoming symptoms.

Anxiety disorders, depression, grief, trauma, and neurodivergence.

Change isn't easy, and it doesn't happen overnight. You are so brave for taking this step toward living the life you want. The clinicians at NOCD are dedicated to helping you succeed in treatment.

Opening up is scary. In our work together, we'll work at your pace to optimize your treatment outcomes. That means you control what you share and when. But if you hold back, we may miss out on key information that could benefit the course of your treatment. My hope is that we have good rapport. I want you to feel empowered to share any concerns you may have, even if the concern is fear of sharing certain thoughts. That can allow us to work together to reach a place where you feel safe and confident to open up and continue on your path to recovery.
