About

My goal is to ensure we work as a team. You're not alone in confronting this mental health bully that has overwhelmed you for so long. Some fun facts about me: I used to make music in New York; I made two records. I love animals; I have lots of dogs and five birds. I love the beach and my family, and I got my driver's license when I was 38. I also have lived experience with OCD.

Get to know Katie Hummel

I'm passionate about helping people with anxiety disorders. OCD has a special place in my heart, and that strong desire to help others struggling with the OCD bully moved me to get my master's in social work.

I have OCD, and it's my goal to help others who are struggling. I believe everyone deserves peace of mind, body, and soul. The most gratifying part of my job is watching people confront their mental health bullies and become stronger and more in charge of their happiness.

Anxiety, phobias, depression, abandonment issues, low self-esteem, family conflict, and relationship issues.

OCD treatment takes compassion, empathy, patience, and homework. It's going to be hard work, but you can do this! You are not alone anymore. You are now part of a team, and you deserve to live your best life.

Know that I'm not going to judge you. There's nothing on the list of OCD subtypes that will make me think any differently about you. OCD is a bully. OCD is not you. You have my full support.
