About

My approach to treating OCD is non-judgmental, but challenging, helping members gain the tools to face their fears and learn to be more comfortable with the uncomfortable. Outside of work, I spend most of my time doing partner acrobatics and other circus skills, as well as playing many hours of boardgames! I also love to travel, read, watch movies and shows.

Get to know Skye Walker

I became a therapist because, as someone who went to therapy a lot as a kid for anxiety and various other concerns, I wanted to help make a positive difference in other people’s lives. Human connection is so valuable. I want my members to feel heard, seen, and understood.

OCD is a condition that can be debilitating, but we have very strong evidence-based practices, like ERP that we do here at NOCD, which can allow people to regain their lives, uncontrolled by obsessions or compulsions. This diagnosis is so misunderstood, but I’m here to help.

In addition to OCD, I focus on working with transitional-aged youth from 16 to 25, particularly within the queer community. I have also focused on trauma work, processing, and healing. I take a person-centered, relational approach with those I work with.

ERP is so different from any other therapy you’ve probably done before. Exposures can be challenging and scary, but I'm here to help you every step of the way. You’re not alone. You can do this. You’ve already done one of the hardest parts—reaching out for help—and you should be really proud of that.

Being afraid to share your thoughts, especially in the beginning, is completely normal. If this is happening, let me know, and we can take things slow. This is a safe space that we will build together, and that can take some time. Know that although I'll challenge you, I will never judge you, and I am here to support you.
