About

I focus on understanding each person's experience of OCD and their needs—that looks different for everyone. Then, I prioritize bringing awareness to all the thoughts and behaviors that stem from OCD, helping you systematically confront and overcome your OCD fears. Outside of work, I love spending my time reading fiction and fantasy novels, watching trashy reality TV, or playing with my two dogs!

I experienced the benefits of therapy firsthand growing up: I would go to therapy sessions with my younger brother, who has autism. This showed me how helpful therapy can be. It led me to want to provide that type of support to others.

It has felt so rewarding to me to help people confront their fears and take control of their lives again. The most gratifying thing about being a therapist is witnessing the resilience and strength each person has to overcome obstacles. It is incredible to see all the hard work people do to improve their quality of life.

Treating other anxiety disorders, processing grief and trauma, and couples therapy. These areas of focus allow me to help others through the most challenging parts of their lives and show them they have the power to make lasting changes.

Confronting fears related to OCD is scary, but you've shown courage by even thinking about therapy. There is an entire team of people at NOCD who will ensure you're not dealing with OCD alone!

It's understandable to feel afraid to share your thoughts. Know that my job is to help you with these thoughts in a supportive, nonjudgmental way. Try to start off small by sharing some thoughts. Over time, I believe we can build a trusting bond, and you'll feel even more comfortable sharing.

NOCD therapists are trained by our world-renowned clinical leadership team.
