I've always loved helping people. Becoming a therapist truly became a passion. I'm able to learn more about the struggles people face and the options to help them live more fulfilling and joyful lives.

OCD can be as complex as a person themselves. However, what truly made me want to specialize in OCD was learning that people struggling with OCD are so misunderstood. Working in an intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program showed me the need for more effective outpatient treatment, especially for OCD.

I also focus on mood and anxiety disorders, along with traumatic experiences including military service, childhood trauma, and sexual trauma. I've also worked with individuals struggling with substance use and incarceration.

Your symptoms didn't get to this point overnight. Treatment won't work overnight either. However, the more continued effort we put into your individualized treatment, the bigger the progress can be.

Remember that I'm not here to judge you. We can approach a subject as quickly or slowly as you need.
