About

Having worked with all types of people in the mental health field, my strength resides in generating an open and attentive space for people to be authentically themselves. I'm an advocate first and therapist second, so supporting and amplifying the voices of individuals with complex needs will always be my priority. Outside of work, you'll never find me without a stuffie. I happen to do some pretty great animated voices too.

It was a calling. Divine nudges steered me toward this path. I've always felt a sense of purpose and sacredness in being able to connect with others during times of urgency. This role allows me to do that in many ways, while still taking care of myself and my family.

Working in the behavioral health field, I've seen the box many people are placed in concerning this diagnosis. Living with OCD can be a painful and isolating existence. I want to advocate for those who've been misinformed or misdiagnosed, and provide helpful resources, tools, and treatment.

Depression, anxiety, chronic pain/illness, grief, life transitions, women's issues, ADHD, suicidal ideations, trauma, and mood disorders. I bring my neurodivergent, chronically ill, and PTSD identities to this work, and I am passionate about supporting those most affected by life's curveballs, specifically those dealing with chronic pain or illness. I have a strong interest in somatic experiences and trauma, with plans to further my training and respect its ancestral roots and lineage. As someone personally and professionally shaped by trauma, I'm dedicated to practicing therapy in a strengths-based and trauma-informed manner.

In our first session, it's important for us to get to know each other so we can start building a connection. I promise this won't be an interview, but I want to ask questions about you and your life, how you cope, and what brought you to therapy. You don't have to divulge any personal information you're not ready to talk about yet.

If you don't feel comfortable or feel afraid to share your thoughts, it's OK. This is a new experience. It's scary, and there could be fears, shame, and all other kinds of feelings associated with your thoughts. Maybe we should take a breath together. My hope is that you have someone you trust and can talk to. If you don't, I hope you can learn to trust me.
