About

Therapy, I feel, is most effective when it zooms out to the big picture and zooms back into the details. We are most effective when we flow between these places. Together we find what you'd like to change. We know you're suffering and might even resist that suffering in body and mind, but what we resist persists. You and I will walk side by side to lessen resistance with kindness, understanding, and support. Outside of work, I enjoy languages and art. I'm learning to speak Irish and Italian. Creativity finds its way into all I do.

Therapy is a unique space: It's the one place you can speak freely without judgment. This is your chance to say, 'I'm afraid,' and be met with loving kindness.

Without challenges, we can't reach our full potential. It reminds me of a quote: 'Life is like photography. You need the negatives to develop.' I became a therapist because we can get stuck in the negative—that's what humans do. Therapy helps us get unstuck and find our way to fulfillment, joy, and meaning. That is beautiful.

OCD can be treated. You go deep within to find resources you didn't know you had—they were just waiting to be found when you were ready for the journey.

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, dysthymia, eating disorders, geriatrics, and psychosis.

Know that you are brave and worthy.

I've been doing this for a while. You can't tell me anything I haven't heard at least three times already. Therapy is a unique space: It's the one place you don't have to worry about hurting someone else's feelings—you can't hurt my feelings; no one has that power—and can speak freely without judgment. This goes against everything we're taught from the time we're small children. I know how hard it is to go against a lifetime of conditioning. But this is your chance to say, 'I'm afraid,' and be met with loving kindness.
