About

My approach to OCD therapy involves looking at thoughts and behaviors, then focusing on changing behaviors and tolerating distress caused by thoughts. When I'm not doing therapy, I enjoy working out, hiking, swimming, chasing my cat around the house, and planning (anything) for my fiancé and myself.

Get to know Kellie Hayes

I wanted to help people help themselves.

I wanted to specialize in OCD because I saw the need in my own community and the lack of therapists specializing in OCD. The aspect of my job I find most gratifying is when people have 'lightbulb' moments when they realize they don't have to live in fear, anticipation, or shame forever.

Post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety. As I learned more about them, I realized how much I enjoyed holding a safe space for people to share their innermost thoughts on their path to self-discovery and healing.

ERP is the approach we'll be taking, and any sort of thought is welcome in session. It may be scary and difficult to start, but I am here with you every step of the way.

I encourage you to be upfront with me about that fear.
